Harold life education

Today Room 5 visited Harold the Giraffe, We talked about what a good friend does and what a good friend doesn't for example telling the truth a good friend would do that but copy someones work would be a bad friend. We also learned that there are 6 tricks for peer pressure

  1.  Reasoning ( persuading the person to do it )

  2. Put Down ( Calling them names and making them feel bad )

  3. The Look ( Rolling eyes, giving them a look like your not cool but I am )

  4. Rejection ( Not including them in )

  5. The Huddle( Gossiping in a group about  you )

  6. The Example ( Copying someone like if they got new shoes and they look cool and you might wanna buy them too because you think you might be cool )

We also watched 2 videos one about peer pressure and one about a girl liking stuff most of the time.

  1. Tēnā koe Alice, I enjoyed reading about what you learned at your visit to see Harold the Giraffe. I'm glad you shared what a good friend does and doesn't do and the 6 tricks and tips of Peer Pressure. I hope what you learned will help you in the future. Maybe next time you can try not to have a big gap between your writing at the bottom of the page. What did you enjoy learning the most at the Harold caravan and why? Keep up the fab effort! Ms Peters.
